We might have made some headway in our health goals in 2019 and the previous years. But did we achieve them?
New year's resolutions can be really tough to stick to. Research proves most new year's resolution would be forgotten by the second month of the year.
Many people are guilty of setting New Year's goals only to give up a month or two later. Often times, this is due to the lack of a planning.
Achieving your health goals can be simple, fun, and easy when approached correctly. In this article, you’ll discover 5 powerful tips that will help you achieve your health goal this year.
1. Get Educated
Like all good goals, you need to research on the goal before you commit to it and to enable you to prepare suitable action plans for achieving it. The research will help you to know in detail about the type of exercises, diet or habit that suit your condition and temperament.
You cannot stay determined about your goal if you do not know the benefits of achieving it. So always remember to have brief and precise research to answer questions like what exactly are your goals and why you should achieve your goal.
2. Set SMART Goals
SMART stands for Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, and Time bound. To set specific goals, they need to be clear and to the point. If your goals are vague, they will not guide you in a specific direction. To set measurable goals, you need to include amounts, dates, and any other numbers to measure your progress. Maybe set weight goals for the month. When you are creating your goals, make sure they are attainable and possible to achieve. If you set unrealistic goals, it will ruin your confidence and you will have no desire to reach that goal. Next, set relevant goals. The goals should go in the direction you want your life to go in, and this will also help to keep you focused. Finally, set time bound goals. Goals need a deadline so that you want to achieve your goal in a timely manner.
